Okay, I just finished reading Jess' blog, and all her talk of brilliant ideas (teleportation etc) inspired me with a brilliant idea in response to my own 'gas prices are killing me' type question...
My conundrum is simple: I'm a truly terrible blogger.
I mean to be good - I really do, but then I get so busy during the week that I never write, and then when the weekend finally rolls around, and I have time to write, I write more than most people could possibly have time to read! It's no good feeding a child a massive banquet once a month, and then feeding them nothing in between. Children in those scenarios die. And the people responsible, they go to jail.
I don't want to go to jail.
SO! I here's the brilliant idea: Every weekend, I'll write a bunch of posts (because as soon as I sit down to write, I suddenly have a lot to say), and I'll keep them as 'drafts'. And then every day or two, I'll publish one!
Brilliant, right?! That way, you all feel loved (which you are), nobody dies of starvation, and I don't go to jail!
I think this could work... I have to go now - I have several posts to write.

Yes, that is brilliant! (I've been known to do that myself a time or two. It's a giant sanity-saver sometimes.) :)
Thanks for stopping by my blog. Fun to hear from you! (And I always enjoy reading your comments on Brecken's blog, too.)
Jeff and the kids are all doing great!
Now that you've solved that problem, feel free to use that brilliant brain of yours to the teleportation problem :) You're more motivated than I am. I'm not a committed enough blogger to write lots of posts in advance. I prefer to put everyone through Jessica withdrawal.
I was just, myself, contemplating that very idea. I think you can even schedule to show up at a certain time, if you're ever on vacation (or work shoot) and don't have constant internet access.
Side note: I used your idea of forming human letters during a BYU summer youth camp - the kids loved it!
did you know that in blogger you can "schedule" posts, you write a draft, and then tell it when to post itself... so you wouldn't even have to go back during the week and post them. (see I really am a blogging addict.)
I'm looking forward to it!
Haha! I love your 'Jessica Withrdrawal' approach :)
Sallysue - Welcome :) I had to go to your blog to realize who you were, and then I was really excited :)
Charrette - Hi back :) And yes, I expect this to be a sanity-saver! (at least then I can stop feeling guilty!)
Brecken - I saw the scheduling option yesterday, but I haven't figured out how to make it work yet... I always tried to figure out how to do the analytics thing where you can see what locations people are checking your blog from, but I couldn't find it. I DID however, learn how to put links into my posts... that was exciting :) You'll have to wait for upcoming posts though... haha!
Kudos on your motivation! I know I could do with more Tammy posts! :)
